Crudup was born on July 8, 1968 inManhasset, New York.[1] He studied atSaint Thomas Aquinas High School, atUniversity of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and atNew York University. He has one son with his ex-girlfriendMary-Louise Parker. On June 9, 2023, Crudup married actressNaomi Watts.[2]
