Beatitudes

TheBeatitudes (from Latinbeatus, meaning "blessed" or "happy"[1]) are a list of traits thatChristians should follow told byGospel of Matthew andGospel of Luke. Some of these includehumbleness,meekness, and makingpeace.

Jesus Christ taught these ideas as part of a three lesson sermon; theSermon on the Mount.
