Bacteriology

Bacteriology is the study ofbacteria.Bacteriologists study, identify,classify, and describe bacterial species.[1]

Microorganisms such as bacteria,protozoa,fungi, andviruses are studied by "microbiologists".[2][3] However, bacteriology is a distinct science, because the make-up andinheritance of bacteria is rather different from the other groups.
