B&Q plc is a BritishDIY andhome improvement retailing company in theUnited Kingdom. Its main offices are inEastleigh,Hampshire, England. It is owned byKingfisher plc.

It was founded in 1969 by Richard Block and David Quayle asBlock & Quayle.

As of July 2017, B&Q has 300 shops in the United Kingdom.[4]

Since 2015, B&Q have been closing a number of stores, and converting some tooutlets ofScrewfix. The company also has some outlets inIreland. Stores inTaiwan andChina were unsuccessful, and closed down in 2007 and 2015.
