Asado (Spanish: [aˈsaðo]) is thebarbecue of a social event in Hispanic/Latin culture.[1] They are popular inArgentina,Chile,Paraguay andUruguay. In these countries,asado is a traditional way of preparing food and a traditional event. Anasado usually has of beef, sausages, and sometimes other meats, which are cooked on agrill, called aparrilla, or an open fire.
