Ariya Daivari (Persian:آریا داوری; born April 11, 1989) is an Iranian Americanprofessional wrestler. He currently wrestles forAll Elite Wrestling (AEW) and competes under the ring nameAri Daivari.
Fox has also wrestled for theWWE,Ring of Honor (ROH),New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), and theNational Wrestling Alliance (NWA).
On the November 12, 2021 episode ofRampage, Daivari made his debut inAll Elite Wrestling (AEW). He facedDante Martin but lost.[1]
He would then begin to team with Invictus Khash. They would lose The Dark Order and Top Flight.[2][3][4]
Daivari would join astable withParker Boudreaux and Slim J called The Trustbusters. On the August 19 episode ofRampage, The Trustbusters would enter into a tournament to crown the firstAEW World Trios Champions. They would faceBest Friends (Chuck Taylor &Trent Beretta) andOrange Cassidy in the first round but would be defeated.[5]
On the September 6 episode ofDark, Daivari would challengeClaudio Castagnoli for theROH World Championship but would lose.[6] AtGrand Slam, Daivari competed in a25-man Golden Ticket Battle Royale to determine who would become the number one contender for theAEW World Championship but the match was eventually won by"Hangman" Adam Page.[7] On the October 21 episode ofRampage, he had a match againstHook for theFTW Championship but lost.[8] The Trustbusters would faceDalton Castle & The Boys (Brandon & Brent) for theROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships on the November 7 episode ofDark: Elevation but lost.[9]
Daivari challengedWardlow for hisTNT Championship on the November 9 episode ofDynamite but lost.[10] AtDouble or Nothing, Daivari competed in a 21-man Blackjack Battle Royal for theAEW International Championship but it was won byOrange Cassidy.[11]
His brother isDara and he is also a professional wrestler. He was known as Khosrow Daivari and Daivari in WWE.
