Aphasia

Aphasia is damage to thebrain which affectsspeech. It is used for all forms ofbrain damage which negatively affects speech.

The damage may causemuteness, in which case treatment depends on knowing exactly what caused the aphasia.[1]

The conditionprimary progressive aphasia is serious because it is progressive. It gets worse with time.
