He was born on October 16, 1950 inChatham County,Georgia. He hadbipolar disorder and suffered fromskin cancer.
In October 2017, He washospitalized forcirrhosis,kidney stones andpneumonia. His health began to get worse when he suffered from highammonia levels. He died at his home inSummerville, South Carolina on December 10, 2017 of problems caused by cirrhosis. He was 67 years old.[2]
