Andrew Sydney Withiel ThomasAO (born December 18, 1951) is anAustralian-Americanaerospace engineer andNASAastronaut. He flew aboard a number ofSpace Shuttle missions. He has 177 days logged in space. His first mission wasSTS-77 (1996). His final mission wasSTS-114 (2005), the first Space Shuttle mission following theSpace ShuttleColumbia disaster of 2003.
Thomas was born inAdelaide,South Australia. He is married to fellow astronautShannon Walker.[1]
