Android Go is a lighter version of theAndroid, it runs very fast for lower-end and very cheap smartphones. It was released on 5 December 2017.[1] It works for smartphones with 2GB or less, for smartphones runs Android 15 Go, it works for only 3GB or more.[2]

Alcatel 1X became the first smartphone to run Android Go, which is released on February 2018.[3] Nokia 1 also became the first Nokia smartphone to run Android Go, which is released on April 2018.[4]

Apps

Android Go comes with these apps such as Google Go, Gallery Go,Google Assistant Go, Gmail Go and many others. It also launched Google Camera Go for Android Go smartphones.[5]

On 6 May 2022,YouTube Go will shut down in August 2022.[6]
