Android 2.3 - 2.3.7 "Gingerbread" is a version of theAndroid operating system developed byGoogle and released on2010 .

The version consisted of interface improvement, 3D image processing,keyboard, power management, task management, video calling and audio.^[1]

TheNexus S smartphone, released in2010 ,was the first phone in theGoogle Nexus lineup to run Gingerbread, and also the first one in the lineup with built-in functionality.

As2020 , statistics published byGoogle indicate that 0.2% of all Android devices with access toGoogle Play run Gingerbread.
