TheSega 32X is agame console first released bySega in 1994. It was an add on for theSega Mega Drive and was Sega's first console in the32-bit games market. InJapan, it was called the Sega Super 32X. InNorth America, it was called the Sega Genesis 32X. InEurope andAustralia, it was called the Sega Mega 32X.
The Sega 32X was an unpopular console and had poor sales, mostly due to there being only a handful of games made for it and because it was overshadowed by theSega Saturn.
