The2020 Turkish Grand Prix (officially known as theFormula 1 DHL Turkish Grand Prix 2020) was amotor race forFormula One cars which took place on 15 November 2020 atIstanbul Park in Tuzla,Istanbul, Turkey. The race was the 14th round of the2020 Formula One World Championship and the eighth running of theTurkish Grand Prix since the event was first held in2005.
The race was won byMercedes driverLewis Hamilton ahead ofSergio Pérez in a Racing Point-Mercedes and theFerrari ofSebastian Vettel. With this win Hamilton claimed his seventhWorld Championship title, equalling the record set byMichael Schumacher. Hamilton's title also marked the seventh consecutive time a Mercedes driver had won the World Drivers' Championship.
