Sir Robert William "Bobby" Robson (18 February 1933 – 31 July 2009) was anEnglishassociation footballer andmanager. In his playingcareer he played almost 600matches and scored over 100goals. He also played for theEngland football team. He scored four goals in 20 games for them. Robson managedFulham F.C. andIpswich Town F.C. He then managed the England national football team for eight years, from 1982 to 1990. He led England to the semi-finals of theWorld Cup in 1990. He left England to manage football teams inEurope. This included clubs fromHolland,Portugal andSpain. Robson came back to England to manageNewcastle United F.C. in 1999. Robson wasdiagnosed withcancer in 1991. It was described asterminal in 2007. He died on 31 July 2009. | Oxalaia was a largepredatorydinosaur. It lived during theUpper Cretaceous of what is nowBrazil, sometime between 100.5 to 93.9 millionyears ago.Oxalaia is known only from two bones of theskull, which were discovered in 1999. The animal was named in 2011 by a group of Brazilianpalaeontologists. |
