Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 is full of secrets of all sorts, fromspecial Hidden Decks to Secret Tapes tounique Secret Skaters, and, of course, secret areas in nearly all the maps. If you played the original games and remember the secrets from each THPS 3+4 map, you'll likely remember secret areas in maps like Tokyo, but you might not remember The Abyss, which is found in Suburbia, one of the revamped maps fromTony Hawk's Pro Skater 3.

Where To Kickflip The Abyss In Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4

There's A Haunted House In Suburbia With Eyes That Stare Right At You

The Abyss is a secret and/or hidden area in Suburbia that most players wouldn't even think to look for if there weren't clues pointing them in its direction. When you first play Suburbia, you will be none the wiser unless you playedTony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 way back in the day and have a pretty good memory. It might be slightly clearer what The Abyss isonce you've unlocked Pro Goalsand made your way to Suburbia once again.

You'll see a pair of ominous glowing red-orange eyes staring through the barely cracked door of the haunted house.

Similar to the"Kickflip the Abyss" trophy, the Pro Goals in Suburbia will ask you to perform a Pizza Guy grab trick in the Abyss, andthis time you'll get a helpful clue in the Goal Flythrough about where The Abyss is located. You'll see a pair of ominous glowing red-orange eyes staring through the barely cracked door of the haunted house, which is a hint as to how to enter the Abyss.

Every park in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 has an Iron Galaxy Logo somewhere around the map, but some of them are very hidden and difficult to find.

To get into the Abyss, you'll need to position yourself outside the doorway, either at the foot of the steps or right at the opening. Once the door creeps open, and you see the glowing eyes, you'll need to either ollie or skate into the cracked door. After doing so,you'll find yourself falling into a completely blacked-out screen, aka The Abyss, which essentially acts as a hidden gap that gives you a ton of free-fall time to perform whatever tricks you want. After a few seconds, you'll drop in from the heavens back to the starting location.

You'll Have Plenty Of Time To Get Set Up For Both Tricks

Once you know where The Abyss is located in Suburbia, you'll have the chance to actually perform the required tricks for both the Pro Goals and the"Kickflip the Abyss" trophy. If you've already unlocked the Pro Goals by completing all the main goals in the base game, you can knock both of these out at once. If you're still in your first play-through, The Abyss is still a good gap to rack up some extra points, and you can easily kickflip it for the trophy.

If you don't know how to kickflip yet, you've got bigger issues to worry about, but it's Left + Square for PS5 DualSense (or Left + X for Xbox). However, the Pizza Guy trick is a special trick that you'll have to bind and slot for your skater, so if you're doing the Pro Goals, you'll need to make sure you have this equipped before starting the level. Overall, the Abyss is a pretty straightforward secret area and/or gap that you'll have to use at least once to complete the Suburbia Pro Goals inTony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4.
