Fallout season 2 is taking the series to an iconic setting in the franchise, creating a golden opportunity to introduce a particularly well-loved New Vegas character along the way. The show is gearing up to takeLucy and the Ghoul on a buddy trip to New Vegas, with the season 2 trailer showing them hitting many of the game's landmarks along the way.
Teasers for the upcoming season have alreadyrevealed someFallout:New Vegas players in one form or another, from Freeside's the Kings toVegas villain Robert House. Yet even more have been hinted at through the iconic locations Lucy and the Ghoul are seen visiting on their journey, from Freeside bar The Atomic Wrangler to the sleepy town of Novac.
How Craig Boone Can Appear In Fallout Season 2

There's plenty of reason to think Craig Boone, hardened by his military experience and personal tragedies, would still be alive and well in the TV show's Novac. Not only does it make logistical sense for Novac local to be there, but he would be a perfect addition to the show's crew.
Boone is rough around the edges, but ultimately a tragic tale. InNew Vegas, the player helps him avenge his wife's kidnapping by Caesar's Legion. Loss of family is something the Ghoul understands very well. Seeing these two tough and gruff characters side by side would draw out the softness they both hold deep down, an emotional goldmine for both characters.
The jaded NCR retiree would also help contextualize the politics of the area. While Boone has adeep-seated hatred for Caesar's Legion, and for good reason, he also represents the shortcomings of the NCR. Boone's history of being a part of a tragic miscommunication as an NCR soldier clarifies that the ethics of the conflict are not so black and white.
Will Fallout Season 2 Actually Include Boone?

InFallout: New Vegas, Craig Boone can primarily be found in Novac's claim to fame: Dinky the Dinosaur. Dinky is huge — his stomach functions as a gift shop, while the mouth, overlooking the wasteland, is where Boone posts up to keep watch. Dinky the Dinosaur, along with the Novac sign, can be spotted in theFalloutseason 2 trailer.
Knowing that Novac will make an appearance on the show, it's a pretty safe guess that Boone will be there too, primarily because, unless the player takes him on as a companion, he never leaves.
Not to mention, there's little else of interest to see there. Other than Boone,New Vegas' Novac offers a quest to find out what is attacking their livestock at night. Novac is a sleepy town, and the main purpose of the player's stop there is to meet Boone — the same can likely be assumed for Lucy and the Ghoul inFallout season 2.
