YES.
I really like this one, the game itself sounds awesome and the anomaly just adds to it.
Did you make this game up, or did you learn about it somewhere?
Anyway, +1
Half and Half! It's based off of the real gameHumans Vs Zombies, which I hope to play someday. However, I made up the whole alien angle, and the symbols and such to make it more subtle than HvZ (you wear headbands to designate your zombiness in that game) and try to add a sense of paranoia.
I thought you might have taken some inspiration from Humans Vs. Zombies! Of course, there are a lot of campus games out there that follow the "humans vs. X" format so I wasn't sure if this was already a thing (upon retrospect, if it was already a thing you'd probably have mentioned that in the article. Whoops!)
Anyway, that's awesome. This is a game I really want to try out myself.
…except, you know, I don't wanna die.
Fixed all the issues we discussed in chat.
Earns a well-deserved upvote.
Totally flashes me back to Killer games I played in college and at conventions. Many hours of fun trying not to get arrested and shooting friends with bananas.
I'm unclear about one aspect of the rules. The Invaders goal is to infect all of humanity. Is this limited only to other players, or do they pull in outsiders with the mark? What happens when the game ends with the invaders winning? Are the players personalities altered? Perhaps also some mention of the necessary PR spin needed after "advanced technology" has been used? I would think the media would be all over it if "kids are killing each other."

Nerf (lowercase) is a brand. Should probably either capitalize it properly and remove the quotes, or say "####-brand foam dart blaster" or something to that degree.
Wikipedia says it's the other way around…
Nerf (trademarked in capitals as NERF)
Honestly, I actually feel the "DEATH FOR REALS" part is unnecessary and feels rather cliche. The game simply forcing an alternate reality on players and robbing them of agency is scary enough, especially with an implication that this is the goal of thereal Invaders…
…god fuck, I completely forgot about that song. If I remembered it, I would've made the Mark that cool ant symbol.
Unless it's copyrighted in some way that I'm not aware of, you still can.
if your reading this your gay
I'm somewhat surprised that nobody reading this has caught the little Easter Egg I hid.
Do you mean the Body Snatchers reference? I thought it's too obvious to be pointed out here.
Anyway, upvoted.
I dunno.
I mean, you didn't write this at all poorly, so there's that.
On the other hand, this is literally just Humans vs Zombies, the campus game that I've watched people play for like eight semesters now, but done OTT.
If I wasn't already aware of the game in reality, I probably would have upvoted this, but as I am aware… I dunno.
While this could be described as OTT humans vs zombies, it is still fantastic, I still loved reading it, and you're still getting my vote.
