When I saw the

It's just bizarre enough to tip it over the edge of ambivalence into tentative upvote.
I like this quite a bit, and it has a bunch of subtle hooks built in. Like where is Original Ghost™? Just how many Acquisition Protocols are there? And how did poor H██ T████ guzzle down two whole cans before ???? happened to him?

I feel like the effects could be described with more clinical terms, but this could really be the next Moth Helm. It's perfectly wacky.
Thanks! I see what you mean about the effect descriptions. Something more along the lines of:
Subject reported audiovisual phenomena (including "hearing [her] name spoken softly," "shadowy figures" at the edges of her vision, and a "flickering of the lights" within the containment chamber that was not corroborated by the recorded footage.)
It's minor tweaks but puts the descriptions into quotes where they feel more natural. It also adds distinction between audiovisual and physiological phenomena.
E: Adjustments made to all trial logs that I believe tighten up the tone and flow overall.
Was pretty good until the organ stealing, then it became great. I especially like the possibility that the new instances are just a marketing ploy. +1
