I saw this article (this mighty fine article) some place on Reddit one day (you know how it goes) and Lude comes by with a massive wrench in his hand and he goes, “Hoss, what you reading there?” And I tell him what it is and he smiles and gives me a firm whack on the head with the palm of his hand and tells me the address of some party where everyone’s on X and so I ask him to leave and for once in his goddamn miserable life he does and I lock the barricades and I scrawl the rating modules on the wall and I press the plus button on all of them all of them because some nights in my dreams (or more accurately nightmares) I see the beastly face of TroutMaskReplica smiling up at me through the grates in my windows and I ask myself why I’m still here.

While I didn't like the characters in this one as much as in the previous tale, it is still an amazing piece of work (and an SCP article not a tale, so I guess there are other things you also have to focus on). Hope we will get more space stuff as soon as possible +1

I previously was really intrigued in the earlier version of this concept. Now, I still do love this premise, but I also have a good few questions.

I read through this version sort of quickly, so sorry if I missed anything or if I ask a question that is already mostly answered.

Elevator Pitch: The Internal Security Department, the "Foundation within the Foundation", a secret military police force, tasked with tracking, investigating, and taking down rogues and spies. You've been called to the investigating room, and handed a document by a man you've never seen before. That man and that document, is your ticket into one of the foundations most classified departments.

Central Narrative: Starts off with a Lieutenant in the Security Department sitting in a small interrogation room. Afterwards, a man in ISD (Internal Security Department) hands you some files, containing information and groups you never knew about. The file contains classified information being revealed to you. It contains the background of this "ISD" you've never heard about, information on what they do, its subdivisions, its ranks, etc. After reading through, you wonder why you were being shown this. The man simply says "Welcome to the Internal Security Department. We hope you will be an asset to his Foundation."

Additional Notes: I've always liked ISD after learning about it in the Internal Departments list. The idea of a military police keeping the foundation clean sounded like an amazing story. I helped make this article as a co-author, hoping there would be many more ISD storys to be made and read using this article as a head canon.

Your"Description" is probably best used for theElevator Pitch. Where is yourCentral Narrative? Even for a Joke article, you're going to want some sort of story.

In my opinion, trying tomake an interesting story out of exploding testicles… it's definitely not going to go very well.

I'd say there's a difference between a meme and a good -J, plus this idea has been attempted before, not very original.

What inspires awe in me: Artworks. I like how they offer a unique take on reality and how they interpret what they absorb. As the saying goes, “A picture paints a thousand words.”

Summoned by PM. I'm afraid this concept doesn't really appeal to me, so my observations will be brief.

• As Shanor says, the idea of a "rage virus" is extremely generic. I can name at least three pieces of media outside the Wiki predicated on that exact concept; what makes this anomaly different?
• SCP-217 and SCP-020 have very little resemblance to the anomaly you've described, outside of being viruses. Related symptoms are completely different. I don't think invoking them makes sense in this context.
• Telling a character-driven story that involves deceit, betrayal, and psychological abuse seems a bit ambitious for a first-time author. Why do you want to tell this specific story, versus practicing on something simpler?

On a procedural level, I'm also confused by your means of posting here. You started this thread with one account,SventzerAshton, but you're replying here (and PMed me) usingSventzer Ashton. Why is that? Is this another account associated with DrSventzer/AgentGhast?

I see what you mean. Sorry if I had offended anyone with the whole German thing, I made sure to immediately remove that. I also felt I should clarify that SCP-8262-A is only fatal to humans, so I decided to make that clearer in the next edit.

Edit: I'm still working on the addendum, maybe reworking it as a last resort weapon in order to minimize collateral damage, or protocols that include a warning system for when the weapon is to be put into use, so yeah. I probably won't end up finishing it soon, I kind of planned on only touching it up a little bit before taking a break to plan another SCP, but expect that soon. And lastly, thanks for the feedback!

This SCP reminds me a lot ofSCP-250, which is also a skeleton of a dinosaur, which has come to life.
