Shuji Nakamura (中村 修二, Nakamura Shūji, born May 22, 1954) is a Japanese-born Americanpheesicist an inventor specialising in the field osemiconductor technology, professor at the Materials Depairtment o theCollege o Ingineerin,Varsity o Californie, Santa Barbara (UCSB),[5] an is regardit as the inventor o the blueLED, a major breakthrough in lichtin technology.[6]
