Thare is A skip, vice (or third), the second, an the lead. The game is playit on a sheet o ice wi twa "houses" at ilka end. These houses are made o four circles, wi the middle circle callit the "button". Thare are eicht rounds tae ilka game (callit "ends"). Points are scorit wi ilka stone closer than the opponent's closest stone tae the button countin as ane point. After the ends are played, the team wi the most points wins. Ilka member o the team throws twa stones, wi the skip at the house guidin the stones until the last twa stones are tae be thrown, i which case the skip travels tae the other end o the sheet an throws thaim, wi the vice actin as the skip.[2]
