Requirements;

Limited Company Account

  • Certified copy of Form 1, 7 (20) and 18
  • TIN certificate and Valid trading license
  • Certified copy of Certificate of incorporation/registration.
  • Certified copy of Memorandum and Articles of Association
  • Certified copy of a Registered resolution to open an account in Salaam bank
  • 2 passport photos, Valid IDs and proof of residence for signatories
  • Company Search (To be conducted by the bank)

Sole Proprietorships / Partnerships

  • Certified Certificate of registration
  • Certified Certificate of Statement of particulars
  • Copy of Trading License / (approval from professional bodies)
  • TIN certificate
  • Certified copy of Partnership deed (Partnerships)
  • 2 passport photos, Valid IDs and proof of residence for signatories

Club/Society/Association/ NGO & Trust Account

  • Copy of registered resolution to open account and its mandate
  • Copy of rules and regulations/constitution/by-laws
  • Recommendation from local leaders
  • List of particulars of the promoters / list of office bearers for the entity
  • Introduction by an existing account holder of SBL, proffesional bodies like lawyers or supervising regulator
  • Tin certificate
  • Registration certificate / Incorporation
  • 2 passport photos, Valid IDs and proof of residence for signatories
