Critical Games’s retro-styled turn-based RPG8-Bit Adventures 2 is releasing on January 31, 2023. Originally revealed in November, the release will see the game launching for PC viaSteam andGOG.com. Console versions are still being worked on by Ratalaika Games, and are planned to release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch at a later date.
8-Bit Adventures 2 is inspired by Nintendo, Super Nintendo, and PlayStation-era JRPGs. The game sees players trying to save the world from an entity known as the Glitch, with seven playable characters and a turn-based combat system. A free demo is available to download via Steam.
