Our Programs

    Undergraduate Programs

Pursue one of three USC Roski undergraduate programs, including a BA Art, a studio-based and immersive BFA Art, or a BFA Design with 2D and 3D applications. Our open curriculum encourages you to explore, combine, mix, match and move freely among media.

    Graduate Programs

Earn an MA in Curatorial Practices and the Public Sphere; a studio-intensive MFA Art featuring critical exchange and curator collaboration; or a studio-based MFA Design degree focused on contemporary practice. With no requirement to specialize in a medium, you can focus on what’s relevant to your needs and interests.

    Special Opportunities

Learning outside the classroom enriches your practice and prepares you for a career. The school’s professional internship program has relationships with L.A.’s top museums, galleries and creative studios. You’ll have chances to exhibit your work in our celebrated galleries and compete for special prizes and grants. And international opportunities include art- and design-related study abroad programs.

    The Roski Vibe

We asked some students to describe how USC Roski feels to them. The responses tell a consistent story of warmth and support—not the competitive culture you may expect in an art and design school. The outcome: you learn from your peers, as well as from the Roski School’s dynamic faculty.

“The USC Roski Vibe? It’s welcoming and homey, and full of art and design nerds who like to make very cool things.”

“Before I came here I was a bit confused about my future career path. But when I entered the program I felt so supported, and my direction became much more clear.”

“It’s very kind and open, but also very varied. There are so many different types of art that people do here.”
