Waterparks have shared a new track, and it is a scathing takedown of what is currently taking place in America.

Titled ‘ICE’, it finds the band at their heaviest and most unrelenting. A combination of nu-metal attitude and metalcore intensity, it’s a soundtrack that fits the anger in the lyrics. A no-holds-barred takedown of ICE and what they are doing on the streets of America currently, Awsten Knight is far from mincing his words. And considering that it was recorded literally 24 hours ago, the feelings are as fresh as they can be.

It’s the sort of stance that alternative music should always take, as well as the sort of business that the band have always made sure people are aware they stand on.

Here it is.

It comes at a time when the band have confirmed that the band’s upcoming 6th album is due to be handed in to their label BMG. As Awsten puts it on the band’s X account “ALBUM DUE IN 14 DAYS. TRYING TO ADD 2 MORE SONGS TO IT WHILE FINISHING THE OTHERS. ART IS COMING TOGETHER, HIRED AN ARTIST I LOVE. PUTTING IT TOGETHER WITH HELP FROM LUCAS. WAITING ON A COUPLE FEATURES. BEEN UP TIL 4AM EVERY NIGHT WORKING IT ALL OUT. PARX6 WILL BE A CLASSIC.”

Until more of that is revealed, there is a new video for their track ‘RED GUITAR’ available. This one is for 7PM and looks like this.

Waterparks were also recently named as the winners of the 2025 Rock Sound Spirit Of The Scene Award.
