Hi Renoki,
I came across [Legends of Dracaea] on itch.io and was really impressed by its concept and atmosphere.
I create cinematic game trailers and promo clips designed to help indie games reach more players and stand out across social platforms.
Would you be open to me putting together a short concept or trailer idea for [Legend of Dracaea] to show what I could create for you?
Warm regards,

It took a couple days, but I completed the first dungeon:
- One single party member
- No gear/items (Removed before my first dungeon run
- Minimal Buildings: Town Haul lv2, Storehouse lv1, Tavern lv1, Guild lv1
- Hardest difficulty
- Monster Strength x10
- Everything else x0.25
Also, will be buying the full game once it's released.
It'd be cool to have a unique item "Bathrobe" that doesn't count as Light, Medium, or Heavy armor, and does no defense bonus lol. I named my character "The Dude" from the movie The Big Lewbowski, if you haven't seen it, it's great.
Currently working on the 100 boss kills for dungeon 1 before moving to dungeon 2. I wasn't going to, but I dunno, why not.
Just a quick note: I'm guessing we weren't supposed to be completing the rank D+ and C quests? I hired adventurers at the right level of skill to complete some of those (doing a solo only run). When I did those skill req. quests, they either gave no dialog, or the dialog for the wrong quests.
Anyways, fun game so far, but just wanted to make sure you knew about those bugged quests.
hey Idyaceing, you an get the new demo here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3730300/Legends_of_Dragaea_Idle_Dungeons_Prel...
We made it a separate page for more visibility, sorry for the confusion!
is fun as of now but there was yet no need to optimize anything, therefore i didnt engage with a lot of mechanics. considering i didnt miss something that is, bestiary suggests there are two enemies i haven't encountered yet. in other words after a few hours im out of content. it does look promising in a lot of regards. the art is neat, tons of items and the immense micromanagment possibilties. on my wishlist i put an option to autoequip,to only use certain armors, weapons perhaps even specific attributes.
I do not like how the game prides itself with a "classless system where you can create every character you want", but then the "races" are actually class locked.
You could theoretically make a Kitkin berserker, but you would literally advance in clubs and two handed at half the rate of a Woolkin (75% VS 150%), get very low HP and a bunch of mana you don't need AND your active and passive abilities would be useless to you. The character would just be worthless.
Really, the races just determine your class. Hope this gets fixed or the game will at least acknowledge that race = class in this game and not try to mislead the player.
Wow, the game you've created is absolutely fantastic! I'm really impressed by it. Would it be possible for me to share it on some domestic game platforms in China? I'd make sure to include a link to your itch page to credit you properly. Thank you so much for considering!
And would you like me to provide you with a better Chinese translation of the text?
Hey picked this up recently, and I just wanna say thanks for including an android port. It's hard to pick out games for mobile sometimes and this one has been helpful the past couple days. I'll definitely be buying the full version once it comes out!
Also dunno if you've caught this bug yet but currently respeccing dungeon levelup points gives you gold instead of taking it away.
Hello, I'm having great fun with your creation and I'm grateful for the Linux port, especially since I'm no Steam (nor Discord) user and I'm not planning to become one.
I'd just need two clues:
1/ in the downloadable versions, have Quests above D been implemented yet?
2/ out of the Steam'n Discord realms, is there a way to offer you a large mug of coffee or any beverage of your choice to thank you for your hard work? ^^
really glad you enjoyed the game! I couldnt leave my linux bros behind after switching to Linux fulltime recently (Linux Mint is nice)
1. Quests above D are in just not in the demo.
2. I appreciate that, I love coffee! I'll have an itch.io store page when the full game comes out (soon), you could support that way!
thanks again
Hey, having plenty of fun with the current demo, but I noticed that poison seems to be kinda unbalanced. Neither physical nor magical resistance has an effect on its damage, and every time a new stack is applied the wear off timer seems to reset, meaning that you can easily get a character who otherwise deals negligible damage applying enough poison to do more than 100 dps. Combined with the survivabiliy of the refreshing escape perk, I've got a level 22 character that can solo the dark elf griffon. Not sure whether you already knew about this, just figured I'd leave a comment
Hey there, the decision for that is mostly so it opens up build variety. for instance if you're mostly using Sword Abilities but also use Dagger Abilities, you (potentially) could aim for a Sword with both Sword Mastery and Dagger Mastery on it. Also when you upgrade the Blacksmith fully you can replace a modifier with any modifier of your choice
It just made my start really frustrating when I am constantly just in garbage gear with random modifiers on it. I think I found maybe 2 pieces of gear that were matched to what the item is. I still say that if you want that kind of build with different mods you should make it after you unlock blacksmith and that gear shouldn't drop with such random modifiers. Or the weights on getting a staff with daggers should be much much lower than a staff with staff mods.
https://files.fm/u/vxm7eugfzn Not sure if this is a bug or not: while playing the game on android, the game auto rotates. Here is a screenshot. The gameplay puts all that where the android camera is, so it's upside down. Hope the dev can fix it, as there no way to fix it in the game menu. Android game version 4.8, here's also a video to see what I'm talking about.
I have a blackview tablet. Android os version 12. It does the whole auto rotate everytime I open the game. I want to keep it in landscape mode just not have it do a whole 190. I like playing game so far. That's the only bug I found so far. Will you be making a discord for the game? I'll gladly join.
oh ok I'll add an option to flip the screen. and yes here's a link to the discord, feel free to come by: https://discord.gg/Vzn4WrSVnH
As of now I'm planning on releasing the video tomorrow about this game and my opinion on this game. I enjoyed it so far despite me not really knowing what I'm doing because the gameplay does it for me, which I don't particularly like because I prefer to do things manually, specifically the fights. During the video I did mention about me wanting story to be involved in this game, mostly because that's where I am attached to this game much more further than where I'm currently am. This is a simple game though, not to complicated and easy to understand if you have played rpg type games before. Overall I'm enjoying it and I can't wait for the full release of this game. All love.
I played this a couple weeks ago. It was a lot of fun. I look forward to future developments. My only problem was that.. well... it's too short and I want more! I need like 10X more of this game. Cleared that second dungeon, did every available quest, maxed out every building, and I'm sitting there thinking, "Wait.. That's it? What's next? Where's the next dungeon? What do I do?!"
The style is fantastic and definitely hits the nostalgia button for an ancient millennial like myself.
So I've apparently done something very wild and made my kitkin white/red mage have some insane magical power. It started when I added the Barrier Charged perk to her. She has 353 magical power before adding the perk and 23033 after adding it with only a maximum barrier of 257. It's supposed to add 25% of your barrier as magical power. It's adding 22680 magical power, which is almost 90 times the total barrier? Seems like that might be a bit of a bug, heh. Otherwise, love the game, definitely want to see how far it goes!
