Gaza: HI strongly condemns the destruction by the Israeli army of its warehouse in Rafah and all the humanitarian equipment it contained.

Nearly 200 pallets of humanitarian equipment (medical supplies, mattresses, jerrycans, etc.) were stored in this building managed by Atlas Logistique, one of the organization’s operational units.

The warehouse’s location and humanitarian function had been reported to the Israeli authorities. It was completely bulldozed.

HI denounces this deliberate destruction, which represents yet another obstacle to the humanitarian aid so desperately needed by the people of Gaza.

HI is extremely concerned that attacks against humanitarian facilities and operations are becoming a pattern despite proper notification to the Israeli authorities.
