Drunken Strawberries

Ingredients[]

• 1½ pintsstrawberries, hulled and halved
• ¼ cup artificialsweetener
• 2 tablespoonsrum flavoring
• 1 teaspoon purevanilla extract
• 1 teaspoon freshlemon juice
• 3 cups fat-freeice cream (optional)
• 6 slicesangel food cake (optional)

Directions[]

1. Stir together first five ingredients in a medium bowl.
2. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
3. Serve chilled in bowls, or withice cream orcake.
