Andrew Layton Schlafly (1961–), also known as "Aschlafly", is anAmericanlawyer andhomeschool teacher in his home state ofNew Jersey, where he has taught at least 250 homeschooled teenagers since 2002.

He is the founder of afundamentalistChristianwiki calledConservapedia, which promotesextremist versions ofconservative,Republican, andAmerican-exceptionalist values, and a strictlyyoung Earth creationist view of the history of ouruniverse,planet, andlife. Intended as an educational resource and promoted as "TheTrusworthy Trustworthy Encyclopedia," Conservapedia has caused great controversy in print, on the radio, and online, primarily over the (lack of) accuracy of the information that it provides.
