Consider an arbitrary Clifford circuit, terminating in a last layer of$T$ gates. Is it possible to construct a$T$ gadget using post selection in this setup?

If we have$T$ gates in the beginning, then it is easy to create$T$ gadgets using postselection, like in this paper (https://arxiv.org/abs/1601.07601). However, what happens if we end with a layer of$T$?

Postselection is the time reverse of reset, so the usual postselected teleportation circuit works fine when reversed:
