Rachel Louise Carson(27 de Maio de1907 –14 de Abril de1964) foi uma zoóloga e bióloga americana, cujo trabalho principal, Silent Spring, é geralmente reconhecido como o principal impulsionador do movimento global sobre o Ambiente.
