Currently, the major wrestling organizations left in North America areWorld Wrestling Entertainment (WWE),All Elite Wrestling (AEW), theNational Wrestling Alliance (NWA), andTotal Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), all based in theUnited States, and; theMexicanlucha libre promotionsConsejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) andAsistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA). Of these, WWE is by far the largest and most influential. However, outside North America, there are other influential promotions throughoutEurope and also inJapan, such asNew Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW).
