The group was teased byBray Wyatt on his social media. As he changed his Twitter handle to Wyatt6 in 2021. Briefly changing it to Windham6 after his release from theWorld Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
Origin[]
When Bray Wyatt returned to WWE atExtreme Rules 2022, he presented himself in a more realistic light. Showing a struggle between being a more passive person and being extremely violent. During his promos at this time, Bray would often get interrupted byUncle Howdy, a mysterious vision who would tell Wyatt to "Revel in what you are" and also accused him of "killing the world" and "Sending HIM away (him being the Fiend persona of Bray). Wyatt would seemingly resist the temptation to be overly violent untilRoyal Rumble 2023. Where he went on to defeatLA Knight with the help of his firefly funhouse puppets and Uncle Howdy.
Hiatus[]
After Bray Wyatt's tragic passing in summer of 2023, the group was shelved. No mention was made of the group until the Bray Wyatt becoming immortal documentary, where Bray's brotherBo Dallas, mentioned doing something he'd be proud of. At the end of the special Bray's lantern is seen in a dark room unlit. Until the flame lights and Uncle Howdy's shadowy figure lifts the lantern.
Formation[]
Starting from May 2024 to June 2024. During dark segments ofRaw andSmackdown the song Nightbird by Marti Amado would play, sparking speculation. During this time various QR codes and occasional graphical glitches would appear on the screen, the QR codes. Would seemingly give hints about the returning Uncle Howdy and the Debuting Wyatt Sicks. On June 17th 2024. The group made their debut, destroying the gorilla position and any who were in it. Noticeably leavingChad Gable with a large head wound. Over the coming weeks the group would target Gable, stalking and attacking him due to him being abusive towardsThe Alpha Academy. During this timeNikki Cross would deliver VHS tapes toMichael Cole, these tapes containing Therapy sessions With Bo Dallas and Uncle Howdy set in the Firefly Funhouse, Detailing his struggle with the grief of his brother's passing and his anger at false prophets using their families for their own gain. Other VHS tapes includedErick Rowan mourningLuke Harper and Bray Wyatt.Dexter Lumis telling any opposition to run. Nikki Cross delving further into her insanity. FinallyJoe Gacy seemingly dealing with the same hurt and heal struggle Bray did before screaming "Let Us In".
The group made their in ring debut against Chad Gable andThe Creed Brothers on August 5th 2024 in winning fashion. Uncle Howdy made his in ring debut defeating Chad Gable on August 26th 2024.
