History[]

The team debuted withSamoa Joe onOctober 21, 2016 in a six-man tag match. However, they wrestled their first traditional two-man tag match on April 20, 2017 in NXT.

As of February 1, 2018, they have been announced asThe Forgotten Sons. They often aligned withChad Lail in tag matches during January and February 2018, including help from Lacey Evans in an attack on teamSAnitY during a February 17 house show. Afterwards, Lail would continue teaming with The Forgotten Sons during different occasions. The Forgotten Sons would enter Number One Contendership matches often against multiple teams including theStreet Profits,Heavy Machinery and other tag teams. On April 6 during the second day of the 2018 WrestleMania Axxess weekend event, The Forgotten Sons advanced in the first round of theNXT Tag Team Championship Invitational after eliminating members of teamSAnitYAlexander Wolfe &Eric Young. They were eliminated in the semifinals on the third day of WrestleMania Axxess, byTM-61 (Nick Miller &Shane Thorne).
