Logan gained a following in 2013, posting sketches on the video-sharing application Vine. He registered his YouTube channel, TheOfficialLoganPaul, on October 18, 2013, where he started posting regularly following the closure of the Vine app. He later created the Logan Paul Vlogs channel on August 29, 2015, which has since become his most subscribed YouTube channel. As of January 2021, the channel has received over 22 million subscribers and 5.8 billion views, ranking as the 58th subscribed in the United States, and placing him among the top 140 subscribed channels on the platform.

On the April 2, 2021, episode ofWWE SmackDown, Paul made hisWorld Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) debut as a guest ofSami Zayn for his red carpet premiere of his documentary, with Zayn later inviting Paul to be at ringside for his match atWrestleMania 37 againstKevin Owens. At the event, after Owens defeated Zayn, Paul celebrated with Owens, before being hit with the Stunner by Owens. On the September 3 episode ofSmackDown, Paul returned to WWE asHappy Corbin's special guest onThe KO Show, where Paul helped Corbin attack Kevin Owens.
On the February 21, 2022, episode ofWWE Raw, it was revealed that Paul wasThe Miz's tag team partner to take onThe Mysterios (Rey Mysterio &Dominik Mysterio) atWrestleMania 38. At the event, Paul and Miz defeated the Mysterios; however, after the match, Miz attacked Paul.
On June 30, 2022, Paul signed a multi-year contract with WWE. Following the announcement of his WWE contract signing, Paul announced that he originally signed in order to get "revenge" onThe Miz following his attack atWrestleMania 38. A match between The Miz and Paul was confirmed forSummerSlam 2022 which Logan Paul would go onto win in an impressive singles debut match.
On the September 16, 2022 episode ofWWE Smackdown, Paul made an appearance followingRoman Reigns being a guest star on the "Impaulsive" podcast. Following the podcast Paul made a statement stating he would defeat reigns one on one.The Bloodline confronted Paul advising him against his challenge. On September 17, 2022, WWE held a press conference between the two announcing a title match between Paul and Reigns for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship atCrown Jewel 2022.
