YouTD 2 is a remake of the tower defense mod "YouTD" from WC3 (original mod created by geX and the YouTD community).
We are a team of two people, Dmitry Degtyarev and Praytic, developing this game since 2023.

Literally today I caught myself thinking that I want to learn how to program in C++ or C# and create my own game, similar or the same as the YouTD from my favorite Warcraft 3, in which I spent more than one month playing this amazing map, leaving my laptop turned on with Warcraft 3 for more than one night, when I passed endless waves. My surprise and amazement knew no bounds when I came across your project today and happily passed 240 waves, feeling nostalgic about Warcraft 3. Of course, there is still work to do and this work will drag on for more than one year, but I really liked the path you are taking. Thank you very much for making this game. And will be happy to watch your progress. Good Luck!!!
My life stopped for three days, awesome work :D Glad there are only so much levels of progression, can get back to living now xD
Speed multipliers are top-notch addition, I think now the top of the row improvement would be showing required wave/element level on the tower level up button so that hovering is not required, second most wanted is probably 0-delay hover tooltip on everything
Hope you guys take the learning and do something of your own after this, perhaps in steam ^^

Thank you so much for your work, it's the best thing in the TD genre in a while and I'm glad the game lives on.
I didn't understand how to use the following game moments in the 2nd version:
1) how to swap one tower for another while keeping levels and potions used?
2) how to choose a target for artifacts/skills in the form of the tower I need? without specifying the target of the tower buff and artifacts give effects to any tower instead of the desired one....
