A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
Operation:OPS is a lo-fi stealth-action FPS set in an alternate 199X.
Play as an operative seemingly working for the world's most notorious terrorist, who is known only as "The Operator".
Your health is low, and you are outnumbered and vulnerable. Once you are detected, enemy reinforcements will arrive in waves until your mission is complete.
A variety of equipment can be selected before you deploy, such as explosives, motion trackers, nerve-gas grenades, sentry guns and amphetamines.
Fight in up to nine different operations, with seven possible endings, depending on who you save, and whose orders you choose to follow.

Operation:Ops could use a bit more polish. It's gameplay-complete, if you don't mind a bit of jank!

Dear Poor Richard,
I hope you’re doing well! My name is Ren, and I’m reaching out from Banzan Studios, the team behind SnackR—an exciting new platform that combines the best of TikTok, YouTube, and Patreon, specifically designed for creators like you.
We’ve been following your work, and we’re particularly impressed by your project, "Mind the spikes" The creativity behind it caught our attention, and we believe it would resonate well with our growing audience on SnackR.
SnackR is an all-in-one platform where creators can share games, animations, and comics, and engage with a dedicated mobile-first audience. This is built by a team of folks who have been creators themselves and have faced the same problems that young creators like you do. Each feature and functionality is built while keeping the ‘Creator’ in mind. We're focused on giving creators control over their content and its reach, and we'd love for you to be part of this journey.
While "Mind the spikes" truly stood out to us, you’re not limited to submitting just that—we’d be thrilled to explore any other game or project you think might be a great fit for SnackR as well.
If you're interested in learning more about how SnackR could benefit you and help you reach new audiences, I’d love to discuss this further. Please let me know if you’re available for a quick chat. Feel free to check us out in the meantime: Website:https://banzan.co/Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/banzanstudios/LinkedIn:https://www.linkedin.com/company/banzanstudios/
I’ll also share a short video showcasing what SnackR is all about—this will give you a better sense of how we’re creating a platform tailored for creators like you: ~https://www.instagram.com/p/DCVjW1LIM07/

please fix the bug at off shore pumps cuz i want to complete it. The bug is when you talk to xi the screen freezes this happens when you don't finish the level in one day. Don't fail me i cannot wait to complete it. Also i saw the walkthrough video of rex709 i saw the ending. i wanna know who is the head of the design please make more missons and please respond
Btw i think i encountered a bug where the sentry turret will shoot you as well aside from enemies. it's in my video in Mission 5
Also, a feedback: it will be great if there is a silenced version of the SMG as a "New Game+" mode. I understand that the SMG cannot be silenced for weapon balancing reason but it would be fun to play it again with an overpowered weapon that won't alert anyone
Hey, this game seems cool. Any chance you'd consider making a Linux build? I've tried wine but when I pick up a weapon its texture fills up the display.
Edit example:
Edit: I've managed to run it through Wine using "Quality: Fantastic", absolutely love this game, but there are still two problems: (1) when I leave the screen's focus I lose all keyboard input, which doesn't allow me to record gameplay; (2) on the third mission with talkable NPCs, when I try to talk with the NPC the screen freezes and only mouse inputs work, making it impossible to achieve some of the story endings.
Thanks for the feedback! I'll upload a Linux build, but don't have anything to test it on, so I can't guarantee it won't be even buggier. If the Linux build turns out to be worse, you can "hack" Resources/Save/Player.xml, and set all the <globalBools> to true. That should get you to the good ending if the bugs are preventing you
Hello, sorry for taking so long and thank you for the Linux build!
The only problem I've encountered so far was that the tutorial level doesn't load, it just displays a black screen, but I could navigate back to the menu just fine.
I've managed to talk with the NPC from the third mission with talkable NPCs just fine. I'll do the next missions and I'll keep you posted if anything goes south.
Thanks again for making the Linux build!
