There are 18 elemental types in the Pokémon games, which means a total of 171 unique combinations are possible. However, even with 1025 Pokémon in the games now, not all type combinations have yet been used. This page lists all the unused type combos in the game - there are nowonly 9 remaining. It's fun to think what Pokémon with these types would look like!

At the bottom that we also list some combinations that have been used, but only for Legendary/Mythical Pokémon, alternate forms or Mega Evolutions. The Pokémon of those types are listed for reference. If you don't remember the Pokémon of a particular type (let's say Poison/Rock) you can check it via theDual Types page, where the number column shows the Pokémon of that type (Nihilego, Glimmet, Glimmora using that example).

Also note that newly-announced Pokémon are ignored here, so any new type combinations will appear below until the game is officially released.
