The Tony-nominated musical now haunts the Marquis Theatre starring Alex Brightman and Elizabeth Teeter.
Broadway'sBeetlejuice, which originally played the Winter Garden Theatre, reopened April 8 at theMarquis Theatre. Reprising the role of the titular poltergeist is Tony nomineeAlex Brightman, who stars oppositeElizabeth Teeter (The Crucible, The Audience), the show's new Lydia Deetz.
Returning with Brightman are Tony nominee Kerry Butler, David Josefsberg, Obie winner Adam Dannheisser, Lortel winner Leslie Rodriguez Kritzer, Kelvin Moon Loh, Danny Rutigliano, and Dana Steingold.
Based on Tim Burton’s cult favorite film,Beetlejuicetells the story of Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager whose life changes when she meets a recently deceased couple and Beetlejuice, a demon with a thing for stripes.
New to the show along with Teeter areMichelle Aravena (A Bronx Tale, Rocky) as Miss Argentina andZonya Love (The Color Purple) as Maxine Dean/Juno.
