Averil Cameron (ur.8 lutego1940) – brytyjskahistoryk, specjalizująca się whistorii starożytnej,bizantynolog.
Wykładała w latach 1974-1989 w King's College w Londynie. Obecnie jest profesorem wOxford University. Wyróżnionadoktoratami honorowymi uniwersytetów: w Warwick, St Andrews, Aberdeen i Queen's University w Belfaście.
