Albert King, właśc. Albert Nelson[1] (ur.25 kwietnia1923 wIndianoli, zm.21 grudnia1992 wMemphis)[1] –amerykańskigitarzysta iwokalistabluesowy. Jeden z „trzech królów bluesa” (wraz zB.B. Kingiem iFreddiem Kingiem). Z powodu swej wagi (118 kg) nazywany „The Velvet Bulldozer”.
Był samoukiem i zaczynał na własnoręcznie skonstruowanej gitarze. Najczęściej używał modeluGibson Flying V, którą sam nazywałLucy. Był leworęcznym gitarzystą.
Albert King inspirował wielu późniejszych gitarzystów takich, jakJimi Hendrix[2],Eric Clapton,Mike Bloomfield,Gary Moore,Stevie Ray Vaughan iJoe Bonamassa.
