An old question,\oiint doesn't seem to work, asks whether it's possible to get the LaTeX command\oiint to work on this site.

The MathJax team hasrecently indicated that a font update has now brought this symbol (and probably a number of others) into their supported set.

So we can see if this works, here's what \oiint produces:$\oiint$. At the time of posting this produces \oiint in red, not the required symbol.

However, I tried just now, and it is still not working (at least on my machine). Is this an issue with the MathJax version we use? Or something trickier?

(For completeness, the math renderer I am currently using is marked as HTML-CSS.)

$\begingroup$I'm seeing MathJax.js v2.7.5 as the version my computer (OSX Sequoia 15.6.1) . Hopefully there's nothing breaking in moving from that version to 4.0 that has it?$\endgroup$CommentedSep 14 at 18:41
