Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds Wed in Canada

The small ceremony is held at a wilderness retreat

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds made it official with a wedding this weekend, Reynolds’s rep, Meredith O’Sullivan, confirmed to PEOPLE.

Attended by only a handful of close friends and family, the ceremony was held at a remote wilderness retreat outside of Vancouver, B.C.

This is the first marriage for both. The couple had announcedtheir engagement in May.

Johansson, 23, began dating Reynolds, 31, last year shortly after his split from singer Alanis Morissette, who recently expressedwell wishes on her ex’s engagement.
