Description

NEWBORN/BABY PAD THAT PREVENTS IMPACT DURING A TRAFFIC ACCIDENT
Technical field of the invention
The invention relates to a newborn/baby pad that allows the newborn and/or baby to be breastfed safely during travel and can also be used as a shock absorber during a traffic accident.
State of the Art
There are some baby seat belt systems for babies in vehicles such as cars, buses, planes and ships. For cars, buses, planes and ships, the baby's life safety is ensured by placing the baby in a stroller and connecting the stroller to the seat, some belt systems being integrated into the vehicle and connecting the baby to these seat belt systems, and also by using an additional seat belt to hold the baby in the mother's lap on the plane and the mother tying it to her own seat belt.
Currently, adults have seat belts to ensure their own safety while travelling in vehicles such as cars, buses, planes and ships. While a mother with a newborn or a baby uses the seat belt that is always used to ensure her own safety during her travels, she puts her baby in a stroller and makes sure that the seat belt of the stroller is fastened to ensure the safety of her baby.
When the newborn or baby cries or needs to be fed, the baby needs to be breastfed. The mother may have to do this breastfeeding process while travelling. In such cases, the mother removes her seat belt and takes her baby from her stroller to breastfeed. In order to achieve a comfortable breastfeeding position and breastfeeding, the mother often does not wear the seat belt because the seat belt covers the breastfeeding area. Without wearing the seat belt, the mother can easily use both the right and left breast for breastfeeding in an upright and comfortable position. There is no safety for both the mother and the baby while breastfeeding.
Especially during land travels, recommendations are to park the vehicle and not continue driving while the mother is breastfeeding her baby, but many parents and/or drivers continue driving without paying attention to this warning and do not pay attention to speed.
In traffic accidents that usually occur during breastfeeding, where the life of the mother and the baby are not safe, cases occur where the baby is hit by many places in the vehicle, is thrown out of the window, and dies. Likewise, many traffic accidents occur where the mother, who also does not have life safety, is thrown out of the vehicle and ends up injured or dead, meters or even kilometres away.
Although various suggestions and practices have been developed in the state of the art for babies to travel safely in vehicles, these developments are not sufficient. Some applications for inventions developed for this purpose are given below.
The invention, which is the subject of the application numbered "US2015257544A1 " in the state of the art, is a child carrier for carrying a child in a car and has a harness mounted on a partially rigid backrest and a fastening element to connect the child carrier to the vehicle seat.
The invention, which is the subject of the application numbered "US5143420A" in the state of the art, mentions a safety seat containing a crash-resistant barrier to protect a small child on the lap of an adult in the event of a plane crash. Seat belt attachment hooks hold the seat and child securely in place on the passenger's lap.
In the state of the art, there are baby carriers that ensure the safety of the baby in the vehicle, but the baby carriers available in the state of the art cannot be used as protection in traffic accidents that occur during breastfeeding, since the baby remains stationary and the mother must take the baby out of the safe baby carrier and hold it in her arms in order to breastfeed. Therefore, if the mother feeds her baby while travelling, she breastfeeds without the safety of the mother and baby. As a result, due to the negativities described above and the inadequacy of existing solutions on the subject, it has become necessary to make a development in the relevant technical field.
The aim of the invention
The most important aim of the invention is to ensure the safety of mothers and babies in the breastfeeding position during their travels.
Another aim of the invention is for the mother to breastfeed the baby during travel, while the mother's seat belt is fastened, to take the baby from the stroller, with the seat belts fastened, and to start breastfeeding by putting on the newborn/baby pad practically with one hand on her lap. Thus, while ensuring the safety of both the mother and the baby, the breastfeeding process is ensured to continue uninterrupted without stopping or slowing down the vehicle.
Another aim of the invention is to have a protection pad that ensures that the baby remains safe in the mother's arms during breastfeeding. Thus, sudden braking ensures that the baby does not get thrown inside the vehicle and/or does not fly off the vehicle during a traffic accident.
Another aim of the invention is to enable the mother to breastfeed her baby in a moving vehicle without having to remove her seat belt. In this way, it is ensured that the mother does not get thrown inside the vehicle and/or is not fit off of the vehicle in events such as sudden braking or traffic accidents while breastfeeding her baby.
Another aim of the invention is to enable the baby to breastfeed from both the right and left breast comfortably, and to have a strap and lock system that allows the baby to continue being together with the mother without being thrown or hit in the vehicle during a traffic accident.
Another aim of the invention is for the strap and lock system on the inner surface of the pad, which will protect the baby in the event of a traffic accident without squeezing, to be able to be easily opened and closed by the mother with one hand. Thus, the mother can put on and take off the pad while holding the baby.
Another aim of the invention is to release both breasts by bringing the shoulder belt of the seat belt closer to the lap belt with the metal hook during travel. This ensures that the baby can breastfeed comfortably and safely from both free breasts.
Another aim of the invention is to use it as an additional precaution against traffic accidents by attaching the non-removable, tear-proof part at the lower right end of the pad to the metal hook. Thus, during an accident, the pad remains attached to the seat belt and provides additional protection.
Another aim of the invention is for the protective pad to be able to be easily carried in a carrying bag. Thus, it is possible to use it for every vehicle.

Description of the invention
The invention relates to an newborn/baby pad (1 ) that prevents impact during a traffic accident comprising protective pad (200) with angular and/or oval corners that ensures safe breastfeeding of the newborn/baby during travel, protects the baby against impacts and is placed on the lower side of the baby's body, metal hook (300), which allows the protective pad (200) to be attached to the belt and allows the breastfeeding area to be opened by bringing the shoulder belt (710) and lap belt (720) parts of the seat belt (700) closer together, the hanger (400), which is located at the lower right end of the protective pad (200), has non-detachable and inseparable stitching, is used as an additional precaution area during traffic accidents and allows it to be attached to the metal hook (300), the baby strap (500) that holds the baby by ensuring that the protective pad (200) is attached to the baby's body, baby strap locking system (510), which allows the mother to open and close the baby strap (500) with one hand, mother belt (600), which allows the baby to continue being together with the mother in a position where the baby can breastfeed from both the right and left breast (100), without being thrown around in the vehicle or getting hit during a traffic accident, the fixed, non-separable, non-detachable part (620) fixed on the protective pad (200) of the lock system that allows the mother's belt (600) to be opened with one hand, and the movable part (610) attached to the fixed part (620) of the lock system, which allows the mother's belt (600) to be opened with one hand. It comprises a fixed part (620), which is fixed, inseparable and non-detachable, on the protective pad (200) of the mother's belt (600) and a movable part (610) that is locked to the fixed part (620).
The width of the baby strap (500) is 10 cm.
While the vehicle is in motion, the mother can quickly and easily transfer the baby from the stroller with seat belts on to her lap for breastfeeding while she is in a sitting position and the seat belt (700) is fastened. The mother ties her baby to her lap with one hand, using an newborn/baby pad (1 ) the prevents impact during a traffic accident. Then, it can easily change the position of the baby so that it first breastfeeds from the right breast or the left breast (100) and then breastfeeds from the other breast. Thus, while the vehicle is speeding during the journey, the baby is quickly transferred to the mother's lap, the baby's safety is quickly ensured with one hand, and active breastfeeding is maintained. Breastfeeding takes place without interrupting the journey, ensuring the comfort and safety of the mother and baby.
While the mother is breastfeeding the baby during travel, there are safety elements inside and outside the protective pad (200) on which the baby is placed, ensuring the safety of the baby.
The newborn/baby pad (1) that prevents impact during a traffic accident is portable and can be carried in a carrying bag. Thus, it can be used for all vehicles.
