Abstract

The techniques herein are directed generally to artificial intelligence hotel concierge system for hotel guests. In one embodiment, artificial intelligence (Al) and machine learning (ML) techniques learn general and individualized traveler behaviors and preferences, which can be related to general hotel-agnostic behaviors and preferences, and also based on given hotel chains. By applying the learned behaviors and preferences to a database populated with a digital curated city guide local to a particular hotel in which the traveler is staying as a guest, the techniques herein may then provide an intelligent and personalized guest communication experience. For instance, a virtual concierge application (e.g., associated with the hotel on an in-room terminal or on a guest's personal device) may use a recommendation engine to establish guest-specific displays and/or automated answers regarding amenities, discounts, incentives, events, reservations, etc., all adapted to the particular hotel and surrounding locale, enhancing the guest's personalized hotel experience.
