Abstract

A hair shaving apparatus constituted of: a power source; a control circuitry in communication with the power source; an elongate element arranged to be heated to a temperature sufficient to cut hair proceeding from a skin surface by a planar singeing face of the elongate element, the elongate element heated with electric power from the power source responsive to the control circuitry; and a housing comprising the elongate element and arranged to juxtapose the element to the skin surface, the housing arranged to secure the elongate element so as to present an angle of 10 - 90 degrees between the planar singeing face of the elongate element and the skin surface.
