ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE WITH ATOMIZER INCORPORATED IN THE FALSE FILTER

There are electronic cigarettes made of a plastic cigarette mock up, that mock up has inside batteries to power a resistance that warms up a compress made of absorbent material and soaked with nicotine or natural essence.

Due to the resistance warm, the essence evaporates giving the smoking illusion.

The electronic cigarettes that can be nowadays found on trade are made of a battery, an atomizer and a filter.

To refill the cigarette, it is necessary to disassemble the filter mock up and to insert the cartridge in the atomizer placed outside the filter.

During the cartridge refill, the atomizer, which is a fragile component, may be damaged, as it has no protection, and may break down easily, thus the cigarette cannot be used anymore.

The atomizer is not only fragile, but also easily wearing, thus the atomizer represents the weak point of electronic cigarettes and the main reason for operating faults in these devices.

Furthermore, the present cartridges often move in the filter causing a liquid runoff, that brings about a cartridge shorter duration and an efficacy loss, as well as an unpleasant sensation for the user.

Another element, not really appreciated in present electronic cigarettes, is the use of a false filter made of plastic material which not really fit real cigarettes with filter and then does not satisfy smokers.

It is the object of the present patent for utility model to solve the mentioned problems by proposing a new kind of electronic cigarette.

The model solution idea suggests a cigarette provided with an atomizer placed inside the false filter.

A further object of the present invention may be reached by using a false filter made of paper rather than plastic. The proposed cigarette is illustrated with an indicative and not binding purpose on the attached table, where fig. i shows an assembled view, while fig.2 shows an exploded view.

Fig. 3 shows an assembled section plane.

Referring to the figures, the cigarette is made of a common rod (l), which contains the battery, on which the atomizer (2) is screwed, the atomizer has inside the resistance (3) which is provided inside with the compress (4) made of absorbent material containing the essence.

The peculiarity is due to the atomizer (2) insertion inside the false filter (5) . and to the fact that the filter is made of paper to reproduce the real filter. This solution protects the atomizer from bumps; the atomizer can be replaced each time the compress soaked with essence is replaced, so that it is not necessary to open it to substitute the soaked cartridge; the cartridge is all in one with the false filter and then it is better fixed.

Thus, the reliability problems connected with electronic cigarettes are solved, as the possibility that the atomizer may break down is almost eliminated and, above all, this component is replaced each time the false filter is changed, then its use is limited to the duration of each single charge, avoiding operating problems.

Furthermore, there are no more problems connected with the cartridge movability and liquid runoff.

The present cartridges, in order to be inserted into the atomizer, have to be particularly small, then they contain a limited amount of liquid.

With the new false filter, the space to contain the liquid is considerably increased, and this is a guarantee for a higher duration, as the duration is directly proportional to the liquid amount.

This false filter can be easily used, as it is ready to be used (it is no more necessary to open it and to insert the cartridge on the atomizer); it has only to be screwed on the battery.

A further object of the electronic cigarette is to satisfy the smoker gestural character by reproducing, as far as it is possible, the sensation of bringing to lips a traditional cigarette. To reach this purpose, the false filter covering has been realized by employing a combination of spongy fabric and paper material that make it very similar, in touch and consistency, to the filter of any tobacco cigarette. Formal and structural changes to the solution idea may be made, without departing from the inventive concept that is defined by the following claims.

Claims

1) Electronic cigarette characterized by the fact that the atomizer is incorporated into the false filter in order to allow both the atomizer and the false filter to be replaced at the same time.

2) Cigarette, as and for the purpose of the previous claim, characterized by the fact that the false filter is made of soft material.

3) Cigarette, as and for the purpose of the previous claims, characterized by the fact that the false filter containing the atomizer is realized by employing a combination of spongy fabric and paper material.
