Abstract

Provided is a light emitting device wherein two or more organic EL elements (organic EL panels) are connected, probability of not emitting light is reduced and each organic EL element (organic EL panel) uniformly emits light. In the light emitting device, a compensating circuit is arranged in series for each organic EL element when the organic EL elements are electrically connected in parallel, and the compensating circuit is arranged in parallel for each organic EL element when the organic EL elements are electrically connected in series. When the organic EL elements are electrically connected in the combination of serial connection and parallel connection, the compensating circuit is arranged for each organic EL element by both parallel connection and serial connection.
