The chair seat includes a front fixed member fixed to a front portion of a frame supported by a leg unit, and a rear movable member divided into left and right parts in the rear of the front fixed member and having a moving means for allowing the left and right parts to rotate in by weight of an occupant, thereby effectively dispersing the weight on the hips.

Description

Description A CHAIR SEAT WITH DRIVE PART
Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to a chair seat, and more particularly, to a chair seat with a drive part, which may be usable for a long time by giving more convenience due to dispersion of body weight and correct body imbalance caused by relaxation of the pelvis by compressing the pelvis from both sides at the same time. Background Art
[2] In general, a chair includes a seat unit supported by a leg unit to be at a predetermined height, a backrest and armrests.
[3] The seat unit of such a chair is a portion, which is in direct contact with a body to support weight thereof, and is a very important one of the components of the chair.
[4] In a conventional chair, the seat unit has a suitable cushion for reducing hard feeling on the hips and thus allowing a long time use.
[5] However, the conventional chair seat is mostly a fixed type with a flat upper surface, and thus, in spite of the soft cushion thereon, the weight is concentrated on a specific portion of the hips due to a body structure when the seat is used for a long time, whereby the seat is hard on the hips.
[6] A modern life style is more accustomed to a stand-up mode, and particularly in case of workers in offices, students who should study for a long time, or ones who use computer for a long time, time to sit on a chair is more increased, so that more comfortable chairs are required.
[7] However, when seating on a chair, protrusions of sacrums of both sides are brought into strong contact with the bottom and thus the weight is concentrated, so that the chair is hard on the hips when sitting on the chair for a long time. Also, when habitual seating on a chair with imbalance, a bad posture may cause diseases on the backbone.
[8] In addition, when seating for a long time while his/her hips are in contact with the chair seat, the sweat may come out of the hip region due to bad ventilation, which gives bad feeling to an occupant of the seat particularly in summer. Disclosure of Invention
Technical Problem
[9] Therefore, there is a demand for a chair that provides convenience and makes it possible to keep a good posture so that no excessiveness is caused to any specific region of the human body although seating for a long time.
[10] Accordingly, the present invention is conceived to solve the aforementioned problems in the prior art. An object of the present invention is to provide a chair seat with a drive part, in which a seat unit includes three separate parts so that the front part is fixed to a frame to balance itself without shaking and the drive parts in a rear portion of the seat, to which weight is mainly applied, in order for the weight to be not concentrated at a portion but dispersed, whereby the chair seat causes no impediment on blood circulation and no hard feeling even for a long time use and also compresses the pelvis from both sides by means of the weight of an occupant himself/herself to give more convenient and comfortable feeling. Technical Solution
[11] The present invention for achieving the objects provides a chair seat with a drive part including a frame supported by a leg unit. The chair seat comprises a front fixed member fixedly installed to a front portion of the frame; and a rear movable member installed in the rear of the front fixed member and configured to be divided into left and right parts by a central partition unit, the rear movable member having a moving means for allowing the left and right parts to rotate in left-right symmetry by weight of an occupant.
Advantageous Effects
[12] A chair seat of the present invention disperses and supports body weight by means of a movable member provided in the rear of the chair seat to thereby give a very comfortable and convenient feeling, contrary to a conventional chair in which load is concentrated on a specific portion of the body to cause a hard feeling. In particular, the chair seat of the present invention compresses both sides of the pelvis using the movable member operated by the weight of an occupant itself, thereby automatically correcting his/her posture. Thus, the chair seat of the present invention may be useful to students or office workers who must use a chair for a long time. In addition, if the chair seat of the present invention is applied as a seat of a driver who should drive a vehicle for a long time, the driver may escape from compression feeling caused by a long time driving. Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[21] In the present invention, the rear movable member may include a pair of movable plates in left-right symmetry, each of the movable plates having an inside weight acting portion and an outside pelvis compressing portion integrally formed; a moving means for pivotally coupling a bottom surface between the weight acting portion and the pelvis compressing portion of each movable plate to the frame so that each movable plate seesaws; and a balance control means for giving elastic force so that the pair of movable plates make a balance with each other.
[22] According to the present invention, the moving means may be a hinge shaft for coupling the frame and the movable plate operationally with respect to each other, and the balance control means may be a tension spring for giving elastic force by means of which both the movable plates make a balance with each other, the torsion spring being connected to connection rods respectively protruding on lower portions of both the movable plates.
[23] Further, in the present invention, the moving means may be an elastic material connector for coupling the frame and the movable plate operationally with each other and keeping a balance by itself.
[24] In the present invention, the elastic connector may be made of rubber.
[25] According to the present invention, the rear movable member may be provided with a width control means for optionally adjusting a width between both sides of the moving means in correspondence with physique of an occupant.
[26] According to the present invention, the width control means may include nuts respectively fixed to both the sides of the moving means and having opposite directions; a width control screw rotatably installed to the frame and having threads respectively coupled with both the nuts in opposite directions so that a width between both the nuts is controlled as the width control screw is rotated; a control handle for rotating the width control screw; guiders to which both the sides of the moving means are respectively fixed; and a guide rod installed to the frame so that the guiders are slidably fitted around the guide rod to make it easy to horizontally move. Mode for the Invention
[27] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[28] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a chair to which an embodiment of the present invention is applied, FIG. 2 is a plane view of a chair seat of the present invention, and FIG. 3 is a side view of the chair set of the present invention.
[29] The present invention relates to a chair seat including a frame 100 supported by legs
300, wherein the chair seat includes a front fixed member 120 and a rear movable member 200.
[30] The front fixed member 120, which is positioned in front of the chair seat, is fixed to a front portion of the frame 100.
[31] A protrusion 121 is formed in the center of the front fixed member 120, and thus causes an occupant of the chair to deeply sit thereon so that the occupant can keep a right posture.
[32] The rear movable member 200, which is installed in the rear of the front fixed member 120, is configured to be divided into left and right parts by a central partition unit 220, and has a moving means for allowing the left and right parts to rotate in left- right symmetry by weight of the occupant.
[33] FIGS. 4 and 5 are rear views showing operating states of the embodiment of the present invention, wherein FIG. 4 shows showing that balance is kept before seating, and FIG. 5 shows an operating state of the chair seat pressed by the weight after seating.
[34] The rear movable member 200 includes a pair of movable plates 210 in left-right symmetry, each of which has an inside weight acting portion 211 and an outside pelvis compressing portion 212 integrally formed, the moving means for pivotally coupling the pair of movable plates 210 to the frame 100, and a balance control means for giving elastic force so that the pair of movable plates 210 make a balance with each other.
[35] The moving means includes hinge shafts 230 for coupling the frame 100 and the movable plates 210 operationally with respect to each other.
[36] Thus, when seating on the chair seat, the weight is mainly exerted on the center of the rear movable member 200, i.e., on the weight acting portions 211. Accordingly, the pair of movable plates 210 are symmetrically pivoted on both the hinge shafts 230 at both sides by means of the weight, as shown in FIG. 5, so that both the pelvis compressing portions 212 exert pressure inwardly to the pelvis of the occupant.
[37] The pressure of the pelvis compressing portion 212 is determined depending on the weight of the occupant himself/herself, which causes no excessiveness on the body and results in lifting up both the sides of the pelvis to thereby fundamentally eliminate concentration of weight on sacrums.
[38] The balance control means is a tension spring 250 for giving elastic force by means of which both the movable plates 210 make a balance with each other. The torsion spring 250 is connected to connection rods 260 respectively protruding on lower portions of both the movable plates 210. [39] When the occupant stands up from the chair seat, the balance control means serves to restore the chair seat into its original state as the weight of the occupant is removed. Also, a degree of the cushion of the chair can be controlled by adjusting the magnitude of the elastic force of the tension spring 250.
[40] The balance control means is not limited to the tension spring 250, but a variety of materials having tensile strength can be used.
[41] FIGS. 6 and 7 are rear views showing operating states of another embodiment of the present invention, wherein FIG. 6 shows showing that balance is kept before seating, and FIG. 7 shows an operating state after seating.
[42] The moving means includes elastic material connectors 240 made of rubber with excellent elasticity, each of which couples the frame 100 and the movable plate 210 operationally with respect to each other and also keeps a balance by itself.
[43] Thus, the moving means may keep a balance without using an additional balance control means.
[44] FIG. 8 shows a chair seat having a control means, as a further embodiment of the present invention. The rear movable member 200 is provided with a width control means for optionally controlling a width between both sides of the moving means in correspondence with each person with a variety of physiques.
[45] The width control means adjusts a width between both the sides of the moving means, thereby causing each person with a variety of physiques to use the chair adjusted to be fit for his/her physique.
[46] The width control means, which adjusts a width between both sides of the moving means according to its rotational direction, includes nuts 140 respectively fixed to both the sides of the moving means and having opposite directions, a width control screw 130 rotatably installed to the frame 100 and having threads 131 respectively coupled with both the nuts 140 in opposite directions so that a width between both the nuts 140 is controlled as the width control screw 130 is rotated, a control handle 150 for rotating the width control screw 130, guiders 170 to which both the sides of the moving means are respectively fixed, and a guide rod 160 installed to the frame 100 so that the guiders 170 are slidably fitted around the guide rod 160 to make it easy to horizontally move.
[47] Thus, the width control means adjusts the chair depending on physique of an occupant thereof to adapt the chair to his/her physique, so that it is possible to obtain better comfort.
