Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[29] The features of the present invention now will be explained in more details through exemplary embodiments referring the attached figures. However, the embodiments are for examples only, and the present invention is not limited thereto.
[30] FIG. 1 is diagrams illustrating statuses of a headset according to an embodiment of the present invention before and after worn on the ears. FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view illustrating a body and a fixing means separately in a headset according to an embodiment of the present invention.
[31] As illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, the headset 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention is attached on an ear 40 to be used. The headset includes a headset body 10 and a clamp-type fixing means 20.
[32] A wireless-type headset body in which an RF module such as a BLUETOOTH module is built-in, and a speaker is disposed on a side on which the clamp-type fixing means is fixed, and a microphone (not shown) is included on one side of the headset body 10 is used for the headset body 10, although a wire-type headset can be used.
[33] The clamp-type fixing means 20 includes a first clamping part 21 including a plate- shaped member having an approximately rectangular form, a second clamping part 24 disposed to face the first clamping part 21, a fixing member 25 to have the first and second clamping parts 21 and 24 to operate as a clamp, and a helical torsion spring 26.
[34] On both sides of the first clamping part 21, fastening holes 22a and 22b are formed to be fastened to the headset body 10 using a fastening means such as a bolt. And, in the center of the first clamping part 21, a headset receiving hole 23 is formed for effectively delivering sound waves coming out from a speaker of the headset body 10 to an ear.
[35] One end of the second clamping part 24 is a pressing unit 28 for a clamping operation of the clamp-type fixing means 20, and as getting closer to the other end, the second clamping part 24 is disposed to be more tilted with respect to the first clamping part 21 while facing the first clamping part 21 to pinch an earflap. In addition, in a predetermined position away from the one end of the second clamping part 24, a receiving portion which can receive the helical torsion spring 26 is formed.
[36] One end of the fixing member 25 is fixed to the first clamping part 21 and in the other end of the fixing member 25, a fixing hole 29 is formed. And, a protrusion part of the second clamping part 24 is inserted into the fixing hole 29, so that the fixing member 25 can rotate.
[37] One end of the helical torsion spring 26 is disposed on the second clamping part 24, and the other end of the helical torsion spring 26 is disposed on the fixing member 25, so that the helical torsion spring 26 exerts an elastic force when the second clamping part 24 presses the helical torsion spring 26.
[38] In contacting portions of the first and second clamping parts 21 and 24 contacting the ears, shock-absorbing members 27a and 27b including memory foams are disposed, respectively to prevent a pain in the ears.
